Happy New Year!...Sorry I'm kinda late...*blown face*
2007 was a pretty interesting year for me. A lot of new ventures and opportunities came along for me. I left Adversary Entertainment and the former alias Brandon Streetz behind in hopes of a more developing and promising future with someone who's career I've been following and have been looking up to since I was 14 years old, DMV super producer Judah who has worked with the likes of Wale', Marky, Tabbi Bonney, Kingpin Slim & others. Judah has taken me under his wing and has introduced me to alot of people who I never thought I would actually meet in a span of 8 months.
Me and Marky (Studio 43) linked up and came up with the 43ntourage, a ban of brothers who enjoy the finer things in life and staying fresh. Don't really gotta get into detail because I'm pretty sure you already know what it is. lol. Marky released his debut mixtape "Homework" which received 50,000 downloads and counting.
This summer Marky opened up for the "Scream Tour" performing his hit "Thug Passion" ft. Backyard Band & Big G. (The Wire) Look for BIG things from Marky in the future.
Tabbi Bonney of Organized Rhyme LLC. released 3 videos which were all shown on MTV Jams. That's a MAJOR good look for D.C. minus the skating down the street (lol) and stuff...Well that's what the haters say anyway. Are y'all mad cause YOUR video ain't on MTV Jams? I felt like the concept was good. He represents HIM as an individual representing Washington, D.C. not just the entire city.
Wale had a MAJOR year...*clapping* After leaving Studio 43 he went to England and signed with Mark Ronson. He released "100 And Running" which featured hit hit "Ice Cream Girl" ft. Total Control Band produced by Best Kept Secret. The song was featured on HBO's entourage. Since Wale has been in almost every magazine you can think of (Rolling Stones, The Fader, XXL, The Source, etc.) and even on the cover of a magazine with duo Justice (D.A.N.C.E.). Featured at the very beginning of the Amy Winehouse song "Valirie" on Mark Ronson's album "Version" and performing at the MTV Awards. Wale ji doing it BIG ya'll can't wait to see what's next up for him.
And finally....ME. lol. I released my mixtape "TheCarryOut" which is a free download and I have been getting a good response for. HOFe sponsored it and have definitely been looking out for the most part. To contact them for some SICKKKKK gear go to www.iamhofe.com. This year I hope to move even more up the rank and prove myself as a top artist from my area. I want it to be known that NandoMcFlyy. can reach the same level of a Marky and Wale. So with 2008 already here I have to get on my sh*t and prove that I belong to have my name on these flyer's at these malls and performing at these hot clubs here in the city.
